Catching Fire but Still Dont Start
Hi all. This is a project for me, to get the car re-start after years of left idling under hot sun & rains. This morning I've tried restart the car after refuelling. On position II, the fuel pump started to buzz (very noticable) and I could actually hear a 'spraying' sound.
After changing all plugs, I tried to restart the car. One thing is that it catches fire but just cannot survive to get started. RPM meter shows as high as 800rpm upon catching up but dies. Another thing is that I noticed there are petrol leaks only when the engine crank. If let say I turned the pumps ON, there will be no leaks until the engine cranks. The leak is seeping through from above rear axle. I am not really sure of what is that leak and why it leak just upon cranking? Will that be fuel return line?
Anyone could help me please...
